WELCOME TO THE LAMBEAGE HALL

The 'Lambeage' is a beautiful plot of land overlooking Perprean Cove in Coverack, and was donated to the village by a local resident in 1922.  It was built as a place of respite for the British Legion and has evolved into a vital community venue, a space for local clubs, village events, entertainment and social gatherings.  The Battery is Coverack's only public green space, used for outdoor festivities, concerts, a children's playground and the summer fete.  A wonderful place to visit and an ideal location for your next celebration!

Check out our EVENTS page for details of what's on at Lambeage.  You will find film nights, quizzes, exhibitions, music, comedy and more!

BUILDING WORK

The Lambeage Hall Committee is delighted to announce that sufficient funds have been secured to start our programme of improvements and extension to the village hall.

The plans include a Platform Lift to enable all abilities including wheelchair users to have access to the hall.  We have recently provided two new Toilets (one Accessible) and there will be a new Foyer and Reception Area.

Our volunteers carried out much of the refurbishment and decorating of two downstairs rooms.

The project started in March 2024 and will complete in early 2025, therefore the Main Hall is closed until then, although the downstairs rooms are still available for hire

A huge thank you to our funders: Good Growth, Platinum Jubilee Village Hall Fund, Duchy Health Charity, Garfield Weston, Lottery Community Fund & Cornwall Community Fund

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in

Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The Lambeage Hall registered with One Lottery during Lockdown, as a way of diversifying fund raising, as all events at the hall were cancelled during that time.   Being part of One Lottery means that with your support we can help to generate regular sustainable funding and prove to grant funders that we have a good supporter base.  This will enable us to continue to help our community space thrive - but we couldn't do it without you.

Buying a ticket through One Lottery means that we can continue to grow and improve our facilities.  Our next big project is to improve access to our hall for the benefit of all.  We sincerely thank all of you.
