Lambeage Hall

Your Coverack villagecommunity hall is open for business once more.

It has taken longer than anticipated but we hope that you will think that it has been worth the wait.

After a very ambitious building programme we now have a more accessible building and a wonderful balcony looking out to sea.

Our Community Hall now has level entry via a bridge and a platform lift or staircase descending into a new foyer and bar area.

The new balcony extends along the seaward side with patio doors giving amazing views across Perprean Cove out to Chynalls Point.

We would like to invite you to come to the Grand Opening of the Lambeage Hall on Saturday 21 March 2026

In the afternoon, between 2-4pm, there will be an opportunity to look around and to see what has been achieved.

Tea and cakes will be served!

There will be stalls and a children’s dance display,

as well as an opportunity for you to have an input into the future activities and events that you would like to see.

We have a musical treat from ‘Salt and Sky’ in the evening, from 7.30 to 9.30pm,

who will provide us with Cornish folk music and the opportunity to have a dance!

There is still work to do on the Battery.

The winter weather, with the wind and the rain, has made outside work very difficult.

Landscaping work will resume very soon so that the Battery will soon be restored for play and events.

The village has really come together to get the finished look that you will see when you visit.

Without this, the newly built structure would not look as fresh and welcoming as it does.

We would particularly like to thank Terry Thompson and village friends who have given their time and have worked so hard painting and sanding and varnishing as well as revamping the bar and doing numerous other jobs. It has made all the difference!

Making a booking

The Lambeage Hall film night will resume very soon, and we are planning a programme of other events.

The hall is now available to hire for groups and events, including wedding receptions and parties.

The Lambeage Hall registered with One Lottery, as a way of diversifying fund raising. Being part of One Lottery means that with your support we can help to generate regular sustainable funding and prove to grant funders that we have a good supporter base. This will enable us to continue to help our community space thrive -

we can not do it without you.
